Snickers Super Bowl Commercial = BallMark

The "What are you THINKING???" award goes to Mars/Snickers: Your feeble attempt at humor in your "Brokeback Snickers" ad was LAME - I doubt you did ANYTHING to generate interest in your product with THAT effort, and probably turned off entire SEGMENTS of your current and potential consumers...

It took an AWFUL lotta candy bars to pay for THAT....

I THINK it's safe to come out....

I think DirecTV got the message, and 86'd the aural torture that was the Jessica Simpson commercial - they seem to be featuring the Star Trek crew these days....

Whew - now I can put my knitting needles away....maybe she can take one of those memory classes while she's working on her accent training, too...

Am I the only one that finds the new DirecTV commercial featuring Jessica Simpson only SLIGHTLY less annoying than the Head-On commercials?

EVERY time I hear her butcher the phrase "but I want it", it makes me want to stick knitting needles in my ears to prevent the pain of ever hearing it again...what a HAM-HANDED attempt at a Southern dialect!!! (And she's from TEXAS - she should have a CLUE about how to say it SOMEWHAT realistically!!! Geez....)
